Welcome to Lui English For You (“LEFYU,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Lui English For You website, online English-learning platform, courses, exercises, vocabulary materials, practice tools, audio features, learning activities, and related services available through luienglishforyou.com (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, obtaining complimentary access, purchasing access to the Service, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Service
Lui English For You provides online educational content and interactive tools designed to support English-language learning and practice. The Service may include vocabulary lessons, grammar content, audio activities, speaking and pronunciation practice, interactive exercises, progress tracking, learning tools, and other educational features.
We may improve, update, replace, reorganize, add, or remove individual features when reasonably necessary to improve the Service, maintain security, resolve technical issues, or develop the platform. Material changes affecting a paid user's fundamental access rights will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
2. User Accounts
You must provide accurate and current information when creating or activating your account. Your account is personal and may not be sold, transferred, shared, rented, or made available to another person.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials. We may use reasonable technical and security controls to prevent account sharing, unauthorized access, abuse, fraud, or excessive simultaneous access from multiple devices or browsers. You must notify us if you believe another person has obtained unauthorized access to your account.
3. Complimentary and Free Access
Lui English For You may offer temporary complimentary access, promotional access, free access, or trial access to selected users.
During periods in which we offer email-based complimentary access, a user may create or receive access to an account without providing payment information and without being charged.
Complimentary access does not create an automatic future payment obligation. If a user has not provided a payment method and has not expressly authorized a future charge, Lui English For You will not charge that user automatically.
We may modify or discontinue a complimentary-access promotion upon reasonable notice. Ending complimentary access does not create an obligation for the user to purchase the Service. The user may choose whether to purchase continued access when a paid option is presented.
4. Paid Access
Where paid access is offered, the price, applicable discount, amount due, currency, and relevant purchase conditions will be displayed before payment. The amount displayed as the Total at checkout is the amount the customer authorizes for that transaction.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as PayPhone. Lui English For You does not intentionally store the customer's complete card number or card security code (CVV). Payment-card processing is performed through the applicable payment provider.
A user's paid access begins after the payment transaction has been successfully confirmed by the applicable payment processor and by our system.
5. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We want customers to have the opportunity to evaluate whether Lui English For You is right for them. For qualifying purchases made directly through Lui English For You, the customer may request a full refund within seven (7) calendar days from the date of purchase.
To request a refund, the customer must contact us using the support method or email indicated on our website and provide enough information to identify the purchase, such as the email address associated with the purchase and the applicable order or transaction information, when available.
A valid refund request received within the seven-day period will be reviewed and processed in accordance with this policy and applicable law. Once a full refund has been completed, paid access associated with that purchase may be terminated.
Whenever technically supported, refunds will be returned through the original payment method. When this is not technically possible through the payment processor, we may arrange another lawful refund method with the customer. Banking and payment-processing times are outside our direct control, so the time required for refunded funds to appear may depend on the customer's bank, card issuer, or payment processor.
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.
6. Promotions and Discounts
From time to time, Lui English For You may offer promotional pricing. When a promotion applies, the checkout may display the regular price, promotional price, discount percentage, and amount saved. The applicable price is the price displayed at checkout when the customer submits the purchase.
Promotional offers may have an expiration date or other conditions disclosed with the offer.
7. 7-Day Card-Based Free Trial (When Offered)
This section applies only when the checkout expressly displays and offers the 7-day card-based free trial.
When this offer is active, the customer may be required to enter and authorize a valid credit or debit card in order to begin a seven (7) calendar-day free trial. Unless the checkout expressly states otherwise, $0.00 is charged when the trial begins.
Before the customer starts the trial, the checkout will clearly disclose the price that will apply after the trial, the exact amount to be charged, the applicable currency, the billing date, and how to cancel before being charged.
By expressly accepting the trial and authorizing the card, the customer authorizes Lui English For You and its authorized payment provider to automatically charge the disclosed amount at the end of the seven-day trial if the trial has not been cancelled before the disclosed billing deadline. The customer will not be required to re-enter the card solely for that authorized post-trial charge when the payment provider supports secure tokenized billing.
Card information is handled by the authorized payment provider. Lui English For You does not intentionally store the customer's complete card number or card security code (CVV). Where supported, the payment provider may return a secure token or payment identifier that may be used to process the authorized post-trial charge.
No post-trial charge will be initiated unless the customer has expressly authorized the trial and the future charge.
8. Cancellation of the 7-Day Card-Based Free Trial
If the customer decides that Lui English For You is not right for them, the customer may cancel the card-based free trial before the billing deadline disclosed at checkout. When cancellation is completed before that deadline, the scheduled post-trial charge will not be initiated by Lui English For You.
After a timely cancellation, access may remain available until the end of the seven-day trial and may then expire unless the customer separately purchases paid access. The exact cancellation deadline and billing date will be displayed before the customer accepts the trial.
If a charge has already been processed because cancellation occurred after the disclosed billing deadline, any applicable refund rights, including the 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee described above and any mandatory consumer rights, will continue to apply according to their terms.
9. Educational Results
Lui English For You provides educational tools and learning materials, but individual results depend on many factors, including the learner's existing level, consistency, practice, study habits, and use of the Service.
We do not guarantee that a user will obtain a particular language level, examination result, employment opportunity, salary increase, immigration outcome, academic result, or other specific result merely by purchasing or using the Service.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the website, course structure, lessons, exercises, vocabulary content, audio materials, graphics, interfaces, software, learning systems, educational materials, branding, and other original content made available through Lui English For You are owned by or licensed to Lui English For You.
Purchasing or obtaining access gives the user a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal educational purposes.
Users may not, without authorization, copy substantial portions of the course; redistribute lessons or materials; sell or sublicense access; share account credentials; systematically download or scrape the platform; reproduce protected audio, images, exercises, databases, or software; circumvent access controls; or use the Service to create a competing commercial product.
11. Acceptable Use
Users may not use the Service to engage in fraud, unlawful activity, unauthorized account sharing, attempts to bypass payment or security mechanisms, attacks against the website, automated scraping, interference with other users, or unauthorized access to systems or data.
We may temporarily suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security incidents, payment disputes, account compromise, or serious violations of these Terms.
12. Availability and Technical Maintenance
We work to keep the Service available and functioning properly. Temporary interruptions may occur because of hosting maintenance, software updates, security work, payment-provider issues, telecommunications failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where practical, we will work to restore affected services as soon as reasonably possible.
13. Third-Party Services
Certain features may depend on third-party providers, including hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and other technology services. When a customer uses a third-party payment provider such as PayPhone, certain aspects of payment processing may also be governed by that provider's terms and policies.
14. Privacy and Personal Data
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law. Depending on the Service used, we may process information such as account details, email address, learning progress, technical security information, transaction references, and information necessary to operate the platform.
Where consent is legally required for a particular processing activity, we will request the appropriate consent. If card tokenization is introduced, the user will be informed about the relevant processing and future payment authorization before the token is used.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate an account for serious or repeated violations of these Terms, fraud, payment abuse, unlawful conduct, unauthorized sharing of the Service, attacks against the platform, or significant security risks. Any termination or suspension will remain subject to mandatory consumer rights and applicable law. Users may stop using the Service at any time.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when necessary because of changes to the Service, payment methods, legal requirements, security practices, or business operations. The current version and its effective date will be published on this page. Material changes affecting existing customers will be communicated when required by applicable law.
We will not retroactively create an automatic payment obligation for a customer who previously obtained free access without authorizing such a charge.
17. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms are governed by applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection and data-protection rules that cannot lawfully be waived by contract. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict rights that a consumer is entitled to exercise under applicable law.
